I just wish they'd cover the opening race live- there's always lots to catch up from what's happened over winter testing and any changes for this year, or at the very least they should devote time to it before showing the race highlights.

It pains me to say it but the sky programme is brilliant and makes the BBC programme seem very second rate.
I was gutted when the BBC lost the sole rights to F1 and felt Sky was just adding to the monopoly however their format and coverage makes it worthwhile.

Here we go again, Williams first out of the box... Attempts to make the cars prettier, er fail.

Cock noses last year, this year... A little numb above a hole, no lets not, how about thumb noses.

Well its a step in the right direction. But then i have never thought of an F1 car as good looking - ever! Its always been function over form.

I should think it's what the FIA were aiming for when they tweaked the nose regulations for this year- whether it stays like the render by the time we get to the first races is another matter. Will be interesting to see how they get on, since the switch to Merc engines for this year and dropping the asymmetric looniness.

Not long now 'til the first test- RedBull already have trucks on their way to the circuit, and McLaren reported that they've fired up the Honda lump in the MP4-30 for the first time today. :D

Renault claim to have made massive changes:

If this is the 2015 engine then they may have followed merc down the split tubby route.

Looks like their 2014 layout to me- Compressor intake being that carbon duct that curves up and slightly rearwards, and the round plug beneath hides the compressor outlet? There were reports that they wouldn't have time to develop and test the split design before the deadline.... but with RedBull involved- who knows?

Reportedly the 2015 compressor is more efficient (bigger?), they've changed the combustion chamber and have a new exhaust "concept"- presumably a Merc-style log manifold, along with the variable intake trumpets allowed by the 2015 regs.
