It's been a while but thought someone on here maybe able to help.

Since selling the Rev1 MR2 Turbo I've now got a Rev5, over the last couple of months it's been tidied up and the bushes/engine mounts replaced but while working on the car I have found a camera on the front and rear which are cabled to a USB port in the glovebox.

Not haveing played with in car camera kit I'm over the moon to find them already installed as it was something I wanted to play with but don't know what sort of recording device would plug into a usb port, anyone on here have any ideas?

Is there anyway of telling who has made the cameras? - Dogsport did stuff like this.

But as it's USB any dual USB recorder will work.

This kind of stuff - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... _langId_-1

But if it's more than I ton to get the recorder, i'd not bother and go and buy a gopro.

Thanks Ben, can I plug a go pro into a USB port and theoretically connect it to the cameras already in place.

You wouldn't need too - dependant on age will determine the quality - a gopro is a camera in it's own right running at 1080 so you wouldn't connect it to anything else.

Best bet is to determine the model of the camera and try and track down the relevant recorder second hand.

Sorry, should have said I know the go pro is a camera in itself but with two external lenses would guess the images may be a better angle and clearer if could record from them and depending on age :)

Will try connect a laptop up and see if I can get any info from them :)

We need photos of this rev5 MR as well. ;) Is it a Turbo or N/A Beams?

Will get some picks up soon, the normal silver with black top. I've put the lenso d1-r's on and stuck with the ad08's as was very impressed with them last time.

It's decatted with downpipe, exhaust and apexi induction so not played with to much. Next will be a replacement ecu looking for circa 350bhp. The final thing will be another suspension setup, it's currently on yellow Billy's but looks quite high on its haunches :)

Forgot to say its a turbo.
