And so it begins:

2013 - Lotus
Same great paint job, same horrible broken nose:

In fact its probably last years car with a red bull style exhaust ramp.

McLaren Thursday.... Hopefully that will be a bit more inventive.

And redbull style sidepods, and still persuing double DRS - interesting if that proves to be worthwhile!

Knew all along that teams would only use vanity panels if it had a benefit other than looks (i.e. downforce) so no massive suprise there.

Booked my tickets for Monza yesterday

Lotus have a habit of digging out last year's car, nailing on a few 'new' parts and calling it the launch car... then the first test starts, and a completely different car rolls out.

Craig Scarborough (ScarbsF1) has stated he believes the subtly different car in the 3D studio renders is more likely to resemble what hits the track, with revised suspension among other details.. I suspect they'll be a lot of stuff that's been held back to prevent other teams getting ideas (notice how it's missing the under-nose turning vanes, for example). ;)
Finishing off the Ford ;)
