What are you up to?

Post by BigFil »

Well the race season has ended for me this year so I have a list of things to do on the car, nothing major just a few alterations to some of the settings and a bit of fabrication.
I need to design and build a new exhaust system for the road and enlarge the rear wheel arches to stop the tyres rubbing on the bodywork under power when they expand
I've got the website near enough up to date which is another job done http://www.ragingbullracing.co.uk

There are a couple of friends "projects" on the go which I will help out on as well including Martins project 35, Matts small block Escort, Gary's RX7 and Marks newly purchased Top Secret Skyline

So what have you got to do?

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Got a few jobs to do on the car to get it ready for the season:D. Thankfully nothing major. We need to sort out a splitter and undertray for the car, get an alloy radiator and change the alternator.
The biggest job we have is to get all the info, pictures and videos up onto the new website.

I'll keep an eye on your website to see how it comes on, once all the info is on there it's not so bad just keeping it up to date

When does your season run to and from?

Fit a new waterpump for me, then sell up. Time to find a new toy.

Had a 15m 8.5k kw wind turbine fitted :D More lag than Haywards turbo ;)

The MX-5 has made way for a more suitable winter car for the good lady and toying with the idea of doing similar for me. I get so bored with cars and I'm also bored with cocking around with them. Deep down I want an old 911 or a nice E46 M3 but can I face spending that money with my patience? I do fancy something really, properly quick but it's been so nice with no big bills and no nasty surprises lurking........

Mega busy at work and looking forward to a decent promotion and pay hike next year.

The website is coming on really well Phil; that photo of Mark and the Smart car cracks me up :D

That's his Vogue pose, does it a little too well if you ask me!!!

We had gone to Malta to watch the drag racing and stayed with "Hooligan" who has a 2000bhp Ford Pop, the smart car was his pit car

I am planning on a kit car next, but that is where I am then really quite undecided. Basically I have two options a 7 type kit with a Duratec engine or a replica car with a V12. Poles apart and impossible to compare really. I suspose the deciding factor will be how much cash the GTti can generate.........
