It is sad to see something like this go down the tubes, I'm glad I've been and feel for anyone who has nt broken the duck over there, because it's likely to be closed/carved up or at the very least massively more expensive.

I was hoping for a trip this year, as my car is car is (finally!) in good shape for track work now.

I would strongly recommend that people should go whilst they can. Not just because of prices or a tightening of the rules, but just because life is short and there are no guarantees that something like this facility will remain significantly unchanged in either it's policies or format.

Whilst doing some 'research' I found details of this place

At a full length of 28km!! (18 miles) it makes the 'Ring look like Mallory! Due to be fully open in 2013.......could be good timing.

Like I say, the 'full' circuit isn't built yet and it won't be for another two years. Will be interesting to watch the developments though.
