Video Camera Mount

Post by puggsy »

As suction mounts are banned now at tracks, i had to find a cheap way to mount my video camera. I had a cheap tripod (fiver), so i decided to drill a hole in the parcel shelf, take the centre post and put it through the hole. In the boot, i then pushed the tripod back onto the post and extended the legs to give it a stable base. The post can go up or down, face forward, etc. For added stability, i can tie wrap it to the strut brace. You can zoom in or out if you want to see out the front. You could add a safety strap if needed.

This was at Donington, first time i tried it.
