Have you guys sorted local accommodation yet or are you travelling on the day? I may be able to recommend some good local places.

We'll be travelling on the day. It's a long day with 7 hrs driving but it gives us a chance to go over things and relax before we get there. When we went to knockhill getting up in a hotel just 10 minutes from the circuit, for some reason didn't suit us.
The road trip has become part of the day for us.

The Flame Grill diner is about as good as you'll get locally, just outside the circuit. An enormous, good quality fry up is about

Im pretty sure its 7, but then a lot of the Marshals get there even earlier to eat as they sign on at 7.30 at the circuit so best double check!!

Just don't tell Gary you ate there, he will be mortified
