just got back from totb, brilliant is the only word to describe it, as a jap owner it was pure porn. stayed over on the saturday night and the atmosphere was great, sundays main event was fantastic the quality of machines and the drivers too was second to none. love the guy drifting the handling circuit in the rx7 that was really good to see and bloody rapid. brilliant to see duncan in action too, i will take on board your advice and any you can offer re scooby after watching your car perform, shame team scooby didnt fare better.

I've got a few too, though no 'action' shots as such ('tis the world of the support crew- stuck in the pits)- and they're obviously APT-based

. The first few runs were to warm everything up, so I was ready to help refuel/swap tyres straight after, then my plan was to nip down and get some vids of Gary and Ross..... but the sods broke both cars soon after!
Anyway-
Getting ready for the day ahead, Gary's and Ross' Evo's,
Ross' mental 900bhp monster, fresh after a last minute engine rebuild and transfer box change mid-week,
Simon Norris' Evo,
Maff's mate, if I'm not mistaken?
And a few for the Ford fans-
The only Ford taking part as far as I know,
And an RS200,
That's all I could manage I'm afraid- my old camera had a bit of a fit and wrecked the rest of the pics.

Thanks Dan; great shame about Dr Hayward and Lady Rossco. The only good thing about this, is that these two will bounce back harder and faster, like they always do.
Yeah, the 200 is Yak's, one of the founding Father of Nissan shaped beards

I think we're all glad it's over- a week of 12-hour days at work, with Ross driving for over 2 hours each day to and from APT, have left us all knackered.
Gary's happy with his 10.5 quarter, Ross says he's not really bothered about it and yet gutted he couldn't hook-up the slicks (and keeps going over ideas about improving his launch technique). I dare say we'll see Ross rocking up at a timing beam again.
