It would appear that the Time Attack series is spicing up its image.

Not a fan.. they look like matchbox toys and it looks a little cheap to be honest.
If the cars were driving along a circuit, maybe a colorful one like Paul Ricard, and it got rid of that awful red/black tribal X-Factor style lines it would be ok...
I thought they were going for a re-brand as its MSA approved now, only my opinion though don't flame me for it!

I don't think they are trying to appeal to race fans though James. You yourself know that it's only a handful of race weekends that are a commercial success in terms of spectators, so I would imagine that instead of trying to compete with the British GT series or Touring Cars, they have decided on pursuing a different client; and that's only my opinion
For me, the best advert for TA to date was the video teaser they did of Silverstone in 2007 or 2006, the one with the Chemical Brothers soundtrack. Static photos or posters will never be able to capture that sense of drama and brutal power. Circuit photos would have been subject to the 'been there, done that' where this artwork has almost certainly been knocked up using pure software. Hard to think, knowing the quality of supporting photographers, that they couldn't have used an action shot from a recent round...........but then it's back to my point about they audience that they are trying to attract, I guess.

They just going after the "modified live" brigade, and to be honest, good luck to them.
If it raises the profile and funds, the sport won't be going anywhere. It has to stand out to non motorsport fans, or they won't be able to differentiate between this and BTCC and certain saloon racing......
Agree with the Sierra comment
obviously

It looks like an effort from a 5 year old with the basic ability to use photoshop!
If I had no idea what TA was about and I saw that poster for the first time then I'd still have no idea what TA was about. Poor effort imo.
Agree with Stu on this though...

Although..........I think yours probably shades it now I've watched them both again. The first time I watched the video above, I still had serious desires to use my 32 for the event. How times change

Either or
Both vid's seem to encompass exactly what TA is about and they do it extremely well.
I was fortunate enough to have a pit pass for Brands, Silverstone and Snett last year and watching the above vid's brings home the pure adrenaline of TA. I've no idea how someone could translate that onto a poster, But surely it's possible to do a better job?
