Three things set the alarm bells ringing

1) He's done a DIY daytime running lights thing

Lets be honest also, japanese parts are horrendously expensive and unlike the Golfs etc there arent people developing cheaper alternative parts than from main dealers. Looking at how much even simple things like bushes, bearings, suspension parts etc are from main dealers compared to the other places. I was astonished at how much change Ben got from buying bits for the Golf compared to the GTR or even my RX7.

I think the only cheap jap track car I would contemplate is an MX5 as there is a good community and a huge number of people developing bits for them.

It was a good spot Dan but I think its probably cheap for a reason :)
