Pointless tat with an apple logo on it, it should sell well to the badge snob masses.

Niche product for apple fans. Twice the price of a decent netbook, no keyboard, no hard drive, no usb so you can't plug in extra memory etc, browser that doesn't support flash. No way will it cross over into the mainstream in the way the iphone did. Bunch of arse!

I do like Apple stuff but dont really consider myself a fanboy as such however I'm keen to have a go on one when it comes out.

I like the concept and sitting and watching stuff on one of these has got to be better than squinting on an iphone everyday (the benefits of 2 x 30-40 min bus journey everyday).

But its gonna be dependant on how good the apps are, at the moment it seems that its just iphone stuff made bigger. Apart from Scrabble where you have the board on the ipad and the tiles on th iphone screen (surely I dont only think this is cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CDUINJRDM4 check from 50 secs).

It took a good 6 months to a year for the iphone to be established so I'll be interested to see what happens to it.
