In order to set the tone for our new found forum, I would kindly ask that you all consider the following;

-All Newbs think twice before asking about NOS, stage one, rolling road figures and your mates Punto. This site has been created by adults for adults.
-I will not tolerate 'chav' talk, text type and if you really, really can't spell please use a spell check before posting. Typo's are one thing, a glaring inability to use the Queen's English quite another.
-Actions speak a lot louder than words. If you post that you can do the quarter mile in a certain time, back it up with the timing slips. Same goes for rolling roads, don't post it unless you can back it up.

I hope you enjoy the forum. This isn't here to be anything other than enjoyable for those that use it properly. Remember it is not a democracy, this is something that I own. You have been warned :D

Think before you type

Very very important. Please read

Having read recent reports on other forums, I have to ask for your co-operation on something guys.

You may or may not be aware that there have been several incidents of people smashing their cars to bits for various reasons. Accidents happen, no one would say any different. The problem comes when people start openly discussing things they wouldn't want the police or their insurers to know about. This extends to all matters of a sensitive nature.

This brings me to my broader point. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we all love driving our cars, on the road and enjoying its performance when it's safe to do it. I am sure you would agree that bragging and specifically naming either themselves, roads they use and times they're using them is asking for trouble. Please bear in mind this is a public forum viewed thousands of times each week. The last thing we want is to be tarred with the same brush as the 'illegal cruise sites' by the authorities. The Police and Insurance companies make a point of visiting car related forums for very obvious reasons and not only to improve their lines at the Nurburgring :)

So there we are. I'm not niaive, things happen, but please be responsible and please be discrete :thumbs:

First of all, Welcome :coolgleamA:

Part of our free registration requires you to tell us a bit about yourself. This helps us shape the services that we offer, but also helps to prove which applicants are spammers and who the real people are!

When you register with us, please don't be surprised if I or one of the other admins decide to delete your account if you don't tell us what motorsport you like or what car you drive. We get something like 30 registrations a week from spammers, so each account is independently verified to get around this. You help us do this by filling in these two fields.

I know how frustrating it can be when you find a new forum, you register and want to start posting and then you get this delay before you can. I understand, because it happens to all of us!!

I hope that helps any confusion

Welcome to the club and its forum :thumbs:
