Got woken up about 3 this morning by my nieghbour to say my car had been broken into they have bent my passengers door down at the top and ransacked it, they took my headunit and amp they tried to take my sub but got disturbed by my neighbour. My friend was at her mates house and they took her sub and amp and headunit from her mk2 golf, we found an abandoned mondeo with about 4 headunits, in the boot we found my friends sub and amp. Thats a real bummer mate sorry to hear.
The temptation is always to dispense ones own kind of justice on these 'defects of birth', but on a serious note it is never worth going after them you would only end up in more trouble than them with the law. If you catch them in the act then you have some defence in law, however if you chase them down the street you have no defence. Also and far more concerning, is what would happen if you caught up with them and in the struggle they disarmed you.....

That is very true, just get carried away in the heat of the moment had half of my cul-de-sac on an early morning hunt, aparently the car was registerd to some romanians in yarmouth, apperently there was also a white transit doing the same. And i remember going past 1 about an hour and a half before it happened, then it all sort of fell into place, just have to see what the police say

Sorry to hear about your car. Lets hope the police do there jobs and find the thieving t**ts. If the police in Norwich are anything like they are in Lowestoft they will not even bother coming to see you.

Sorry to hear that Shane. At least no-one was hurt. It's not so much what's nicked but the damage to the car that the dozey fekkers cause.
Had my Subaru broken into one night, I guess by a couple of kids, not 'organised' as in your case. They destroyed the door locks with a screw driver and also attacked the roof trim (they must have thought it was the top of the door). Smashed a rear door glass and nicked nothing but a cd wallet full of cds. There was so much other stuff in there that was valuable and left behind.

yeah but to be honest i dont think they really had enough time to look around i think my neighbour heard them quite soon. had crime scene look over mine and my friends cars, we were also told 2 more in beccles had been targeted. Ill give T Rozzers there due they didnt take long arriving and where straight on searching around. As said in my previous post we found an abandoned mondeo which they traced back to a foreign chap in yarmouth, they think Romanian. Crime scene turned up about 10 this morning and told us they had already sent someone to the house where the car is registered and his girlfriend said i dont know where my boyfriend or his car is lol the police said thats just the answer they wanted. All thats left to do now is find out who Cinderella is. Not everything has been doom and gloom though my piston rings, main bearings and big end bearings turned up today

FFS! bunch of muppets! luckly enough norfolk/suffolk are really starting to come down hard on car theives (being in the top 5 in the country for car thefts/break ins) and it wont be long before he's caught Shane, its a small concellation but at least he will be in the shit

. But a serious warning to any one one here with a 4x4 especially shogun, pajero, land rover or if you own a subaru impreza be wary of where you leave them and make sure there is a decent immobiliser fitted, because there is a big wave of these being stolen at the moment and used for ram raids in the north norfolk area.
