Yes, i saw this and got quite excited.
BMW E36 and E46 are great cars with the downside being the weight.
Hawk have put 6 cyl BMW engines in their cars so these are not the first, but using all the other BMW parts is a great idea.

The weight distribution would be appalling on the M3 engined ones. Nice idea but too bloody heavy.

i had the same thoughts , but then thought about the v8 dax ! they manage ok

The Rover V8 is lighter than the straight six BMW engine and I think Gerry will confirm that the Dax wheelbase and width is about as big as it gets for a 7 style kit car, thus helping the weight distribution

From what I read it looks like they are going down the supercharged 4 pot route with them!

Dax are developing a chassis for a BMW V engine as the straight 6 is too long.

Dax weight distribution with the V8 Rover is almost 50/50 Sound is 100% though :D
