HHmmm, well my mum used to have a Nintendo DS Lite. It's now in bits on the floor after atempting to fit a new touch screen :willy_nilly:

I was at the point of totally loosing all control of the anger demon within so I just bought a new one :hat:

Anyway, the main issue is connecting the new screen into the microscopic ribbon connector. I think in the process I've trashed the ribbon attached to the screen, but if anyone can fix it I'll get a new screen and offer a reward :seeya: On top of that the clip arrangement that holds the ribbon came off, but I'm sure it can clip back on. Problem is the clip is about 3mm square :svengo:

Anybody got the skillzzzz?

I used to refer this sort of work to an online repairer, but not because they were cheap, the work involved was a nightmare for my sausage fingers :)

Gerry is a bit of a wizard with electronics but I'm not sure that it will come back looking like a DS lite anymore ;)

Sell it on eBay for spares or repair and make some money off it to offset the cost of the new one.

Probably not worth spending the time to repair it baring in mind the time and cost involved and what it's actually worth so let someone else recycle it. :)
