Anyone else fancy a Stratos right about now? :driving:

First time I ever heard of one was in the game Sega Rally (far too young for being able to see Lancia's racing for real in the WRC :D) and ever since I've had a soft spot for Intergrale's, but the looks and V6 soundtrack of the Stratos were gorgeous! :drool5:

Great rally cars in there day :sifone:

I think this one which was at the Richard Burns rally at Marham last year was a replica.

I've been in a couple of Integrale's over the years and had the pleasure of being able to chuck one round some Surrey lanes for a morning last Spring which was a delightfull experience.

As soon as I took it outside of it's "comfort zone" I was nowhere near good enough to keep it under control so decided to go for the more forgiving Impreza :)

If the Kit-Stratos they tested had been given a good review I'd be saving for one now but the way they slated it I'm staying well clear which is a shame because they have always looked sexier than anything else I've ever seen.

I have driven a Hawk replica with the alfa engine and I can honestly say that I would never consider one. It has to be the most uncomfortable, clostrophobic and hot cabin I have ever sat in. There are plenty more kit cars that are higher up my want list.

That said - they do look nice :).

You didn't notice RH in the Lambo then?

There's a gaggle of real and faux Stratos at the Abingdon sprint each year and very nice they are too :D

As for TG did you notice long haired blonde in the audience while JC, JM & RH were sitting discussing crap at the beginning? Best part of the show I thought :D

Yes ok, they had a lambo - nice - but the first 10 - 15 minutes were about a balloon (and a lambo) - 10 minutes racing a marina! ... it just goes on and on ... pah, it's pants.
