Any sufferers on here, i had an ambulance out thursday morning because when you call the pandemic swine flu line they ask you 3 questions...
1. Is the sufferer unconcious - "No , I'm not"
2. Is the sufferer Limp / sleeping? - " (cough cough) No , I'm not"
3. Can the sufferer finish a sentence without either coughing or getting short of breath - " (cough), Err, (cough cough, weezing) Well, no (cough)"
"Ok" I'm told, "Please hang up and call an ambulance"
I do this, they came and told me I had swine flu then spent 30mins on the phone trying to get me tablets before they left. I felt like death Thursday and have gradually been feeling less like death since. Just feel real dizzy / faint now with a cough still and throat feels like i want to be bit sick.. Thursday i ached from head to toe and was apsolutley roasting..
Not nice at all

Glad to say that I haven't had it yet, but then again I am uber tough and resilient to that sort of thing

(If that's not talking it up.......)
I am perpetually warm though, regardless of the weather. I am sure that suggest something within my body isn't working or working too hard but there we are. I attribute it to my healthy lifestyle
Hope you're feeling better soon Paul

It doesnt matter how tough you are, i also made this mistake and thought i'd be fine but the germs are invisible to us so its difficult to fight them off..
Cheers bud

Sounds like flu to me
Being an unsociable bastard, I tended not to get colds and flu stuff. Then Liz started working in a school so, it's only a matter of time. I had three colds, from her, last year.

Glad your starting to feel better. I had flu (not just man flu) for the first time earlier this year... no matter how bad a cold feels, real flu is just in a whole different league of feeling crapy. Not nice at all.

When you've had 'proper' flu and listen to the '24 hour flu' sufferers who don't have a sniffle you know they don't have a clue what it's like.

No! That'd be Cat Flu.
For those with a persistent psychological condition, there is the 'One Flew' but you'd need a cuckoo's nest before you get over it!
For those who are a bit stuck up, there's the dreaded 'Boiler Flue'

I can't aford to catch a cold never mind the flu.
If you want to feel really scared to the point you really need an ambulance develop asthma and catch a bad cold. When your airways and bronchials have properly conrtacted and are full of phlegm, none of your inhalers are working and you're struggling to breathe and can't fill your lungs for the gagging and coughing it's then that you pray the ambulance turns up bloody quick!!
My asthma is really playing up at the moment and I'm scared shitless of caching swine flu, vaccine or no vaccine. I've not long got over a bad cold and cough and really struggled durring the first couple of weeks but i've come out relatively unscathed and thank my lucky stars.
This swine flu is a bitch and I don't fancy it one bit!!
