Is that just the dates for Modified Live Pablo? I thought (presumed) that the TA guys would be doing Silverstone as well

Silverstone is out for next year. They wanted to get away from the drag strip nature of the national circuit plus expand the event and modified live to a wider audience.

I happen to think that the Silverstone circuit was pretty poor although the venue and show was superb. I'll be blunt, and this may seem extreme, but once you get passed the fact that Silverstone has been the GP home track, the choice of that or Cadwell and I'd be half way to Lincolnshire before you can say 'It's not racing..........'

Please tell me that tag line is getting dropped for 2010

The International circuit is far more interesting than the National but presented with the opportunity to use Cadwell, then no contest.

The only drawback at Cadwell, from memory, is the lack of garages, paddock area and concrete hardstandings. Just hope it's dry. :)

How about a BP at Cadwell next year, turn out in force to cheer the boys on?

We will not be doing the full season next year, as we don't want to rush this build or cut corners to get it ready for the first round. Even though the car will be ready before August it is extremely unlikely that we will do that round. That date clashes with Ford Fair at Silverstone and the car has to be at Ford Fair next year.

This is not a condition imposed upon us by the new sponsor, as the TA comes first. It is something that me and Bart had discussed and said we would do for our sponsor. We will be running the car out on track alongside all the other Ford Tuners and the Editor of Fast Ford mag's car.

pretty sure that Silverstone is under-going various closed season changes to make the track far better due to the 2010 bike racing..........

Cadwell is going to be a great addition to the series 8)

Be trickey through hall bends with cars on hot laps and others on cool downs so will take some very co-operative drivers and a large degree of planning to find space to do the times.

Silverstone was good but it will be back I am sure (same with Donington) for 2011.
