I know it must have been mentioned somewhere, I did look, but how come HTML is not enabled on here?

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page Christian, does HTML say it's enabled or not?
Mine is on and the default, as far as my Sauvignon addled brain can see, should be switched on for all to use and enjoy.
Smilies also work from either keyboard shortcuts or using the left hand reply button which should then give you a window full of the buggers.
If it doesn't do these things, let me know via PM
