Just finished watching these and such an amazing change in F1 over the years. Watching the tyrells being worked on in a wood shed at the end of a farm lane was just amazing. We have so many great drivers in our history we often forget.
Graham hill was a real card in his day Shame some of his good humour got lost in the gene pool and we ended up with Mr Yawn himself in Damon.
Great evenings tv for me Especially as Suz was on the Wii fit for most of the evening wearing very little.
(apparently its important to keep the weight correct.)

For once a really good Saturday night's telly. The Jim Clark episode certainly rolled back the years for me. His sad demise was one of those events that those of us who were around at the time will never forget. I was with some mates at a stock car meet that afternoon when it was announced, and there followed a stunned silence.
Most of us were at work early the next day, and i remember how the whole of the Lotus workforce were in a state of shock. It was intimated on the programme tonight that there were a few cracks in the relationship between Chapman and Clark, and that may well be true, but Colin Chapman was really grief stricken and susequently, as a mark of his respect and friendship, all Lotus cars were rebadged with the ACBC logo in chrome and black. If my memory serves me correct these were fitted for the folowing 2 years.
Ironically, most of Jim Clark's peers were participating in The Race Of Champions at Brands that day, and if he had been there too then a third world championship would probably have been his.
In my opinion he remains the greatest driver ever.
