Petrol at Snetterton

Post by mutleysfriend »

Does anyone know what the octane rating for the petrol sold at Snetterton race track is?
if it's less than 99 do you guys who have their cars mapped for V-Power use octane boost?
Just wondering for when I'm next there.
Cheers.

Far easier to head up the road mate, there is a shell towards Wymondham on the bypass.

Just my 2p.

I would recommend not using the petrol at Snetterton for any turbo charged car David. As Gareth suggests, make a trip up the road to Shell.

David,
I do great value 10L and 20L plastic jerry cans so you could just fill them up beforehand and not have to worry about having to waste time/fuel leaving the circuit to go get more fuel.

Thanks for the offer Eddy, but I already have two 20l cans. I just thought if the petrol at Snetterton was any good I would buy some there. It looks like I will need to use the cans that I have and take the petrol with me.
Cheers,
David
