We're awaiting final confirmation from the MSA about the championships standing. Spence should provide this within a day or so.

In terms of the series happening, that's up to us really. I see no reason why not, even of we have to be a bit clever about how we move it all forwards :)

I'll be sorting out the Snetterton round this week with the circuit management so that date is set based on the second Wednesday of the month. I'm still
unsure as to the best way to play this one......... (answers on a postcard)

This is the great thing about this championship. You guys get a say in how it works :D

Do you think you can run a Sprint in an evening???? Isn't that a bit short on time, or were you going to limit the amount of cars?
What about timing gear for that event?

Timing gear and marshalls are OK

Short time; no more so than a morning session at Brands or Lydden

Reduced numbers; maybe but subject to viability in line with the guidelines set out by the above.

The evening event is a concept at the moment. If I can persuade the circuit to give us a full day at better than normal prices, who knows. I still think that an evening bash will do the profile of the club a great deal of benefit (talk about walking the walk) and if it coincides with a social meet night, we're assured of good support for the drivers, good support for the bar and restaurant and loads of potential new interest for 2010.

I am happy to discuss this though. The more (quality) feedback the better.

With reference to the timing gear i could speak to john sharpe who runs the timing on the sprints shaw he wouldn,t charge much. A evening sprint would be good idea that would be somthing different. mike
