Blimey it's cold -6.5C outside at the moment....
Fantatic first night and looking forward to getting some laps in today as it is clear skies and dry roads
Rachel has even said that she will be doing a couple of laps herself :thumb:
Nige, Lou and the kids arrive this morning - really looking forward to spending the weekchilling out, karting, partying at Sliders, new year's dinner at Comfy Corner and whatever else that takes our fancy ...

Guten morgen !!
What a great day yesterday was
Track was dry, clear and with just enough cars to have a play with someone when you wanted. Managed 8 laps in the Subaru yesterday, the first two of which were tip toeing round cos of some rather nasty ice at Hatzenbach, but that soon cleared and could put the foot down a bit.
Rachel drove a lap too

... She didnt really enjoy it that much and it seemed to go on for a little longer than one of my laps  but ... she did it and I am very proud of her for that. It was only the second time she had driven the car since Feb.
Nige, Lou, Matt and Cat arrived at lunchtime and Nige and I spent the rest of the afternoon playing on track. Couple of convoy laps with him in the Mazda and then gave him a couple of pax laps and had a great pax lap with him. The Mazda 6 does handle very well indeed 8)
After the fun of the track, we headed back to the Burgstube for some of Heidi's excellent chocolate cake...mmmmmmmmmmmm and prepared for dinner at Pinnochios. As usual, this was immense and great company make it a great evening.
Just up and waiting for everyone else to get up for brekkie, then we will decide what we do today.
-11C last night ... damn it's cold

but beautiful to have lovely clean crisp air to breathe. Life doesnt get much better than this 8)

Happy New Year everyone !
Having a great time although last night's plans had to be rearranged due to excessive ice on the roads. Still, we had a great party at the Burgstube and saw the new year in with a few bitburgers

Running fine Francis. 8)
We had a great blast down the autobahn on tuesday on the way up to Michael Schumacher's karting centre in Kerpen
Awesome racing, although a 60 min race was a 'taad' too long

Jeesh I hurt afterwards and still ache now.
Track didnt open yesterday as it was very very icey and they didnt want to grit the whole circuit and it isnt open today. We took a walk down to the track though and the surface was pure black ice ... so slippery that Annabelle fell ar$e over t1ts.
Hopefully tomorrow will be less icey so that Nige and I can mountain bike round the circuit
