Help needed!!

Where can i get a bung for my Nur Spec on on classic scooby......
Got a track day on thursday at brands and need to shut it up...
Last time at castle combe it was 107db and i know at brands it's 105db should i just chance it???

Brands seem to be a little more flexible than other circuits from what Barney and Lee were saying after last weeks run out, but if you know you are over the noise limit anyway, surely you'll be better off sorting this out properly?

Re the bung, a decent exhaust manufacturer could supply one. Maybe Hayward and Scott in Essex or our own Fast Eddy in Norfolk?

just change that exhaust if you want to go anywhere near a track with your scooby. They are becoming increasingly hot on noise and the nur spec is one of the loudest there is.

Noisy isnt necessarily more powerful :thumb:

ps - if this sounds like an unnecssary expense, offset it against the cost of going there and getting half a dozen laps in then being chucked off the day.

I have a Magnex 3" back box you can borrow/buy with the standard OE flange.

97dB when tested static @ 5K

Located near Bedford.

magnex are the way to go , my 3" round is 91db static :thumb:
