Lee,
They do this from time to time and usually around this time of year.
They do it Sunday and a Thursday evening. Do you want me to find out if i can get in on this Thursday for you and pick up a few jacks?
Phone me to discuss mate.

I have one of these jacks they are ok nice and light but because they have not got a wide front i have had them start to twist and start to topple when jacking from the side if the floor is not dead flat. if you can try and go for the next size up a lot more stable. sorry for that

Good point Mike. Safety first :thumb:

I use one of these for small jobs and mobile work
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/produ ... olley-jack
as it has a good lifting range and is not that heavy

I use one of these for heavier workshop jobs

It also has a great lifting range and is great value for a 3T jack.

If people are after a jack for taking to track days etc, the alloy one is nice and flash with some good features and low entry, but Mike has made a good point re stability. The former of the 2 i use will go under most cars and i have modified mine to be around 10mm lower.
