This is Millie who will be joining our household in a couple of weeks time. I wasn,t looking for another dog but after meeting up with my old work mates at the animal rescue centre i used to work at, and being told to "just have a look!!" I now have two dogs :o . She was a stray so no info is known about her. I have been going to see her for a week now and she is really lovely. She knows all sorts of commands and met our other dog today who she got on great with. The only problem is it looks like i,m going to have to get an estate car to fit them both into!

Indeed

A real beauty :) Well done Darren. I would be a sucker for stray dogs. With two acres of land I could get into a lot of trouble!

If only I could have one like that, my misses wants a Jack Russell I want chocolate lab. Guess who will win.

Don't suppose you can advise the best place for pet insurance, prices are so variable I have no idea why.

She is very very cute.

Hope it all goes well.

With reference to the Insurance they all differ alot but three we have used are
Tesco: Never again as vet bill amount only 2k trust me thats no where near enough.

Nfu: Vet bill cover 4K not to bad but did have one dog get up to that amount in about 3 weeks at the vets and Animal Health Trust.
I still use Nfu for 3 of my dogs at present.

Direct Line: 6k Vet bill cover I will definately be changing all dogs to this when renewal comes up. Currently have our German Shepard Max with them not badly priced especially as he is a large breed.

Hope that helps.

Andrea.
