Got an entry for the last MLR Sprint of the year, and its at Silvestone. Just wondering if anyone had been there and driven it?? if so is it any good, tight and twisty or open etc??

Also, anyone got any 17" used R888 tyres??? 235/45/17 preferably!

Did Stowe last year with Andy ESL and Ben Brett. It's the circuit that Richard Hammond tried to drive round in the Renault F1 car.

Unusually, it's anti-clockwise with, as you'd expect plenty of left turns with only one right bend iirc. It's located within the main complex and so, is a track all on it's own, i.e. it's not a part of the GP, like the National is.

If you find SS on google earth, you can see it quite clearly.

You'll love it, especially when it pees down. :D

Wasn't it Stowe that Hammond took the F1 car around on Topgear? Looked quite compact, no long straights :)

Cool, the tighter the better for me, otherwise the monster BHP lads will have it sown up!

Hmm, prefer if it was dry but if its wet it evens out the field.

I'll have a look on youtube later....bound to be some footage on there!

Better hope they use the chicanes on the straights. Never looked like that on TG.

Never though I could win....too much weight, standard suspension etc....just be interesting to see where I can get to with all the equipment there!

Hopefully the chicanes are used..... :o
