i still fail to see why hamilton got his drive through though, 1st corner 1st lap every race series known to man goes through similar things as every car is trying to take the same corner at the same time, racing incident me thinks....or is it the FIA`s way of thinking well we cant penalise massa and not lewis?

the most hilarious one was Bourdais getting a 25sec penalty for Massa crashing into him...................

both Massa and Hamilton thought they were racing in kindergarten??? and as for Kimi he only seems to get faster at the end of the race when he is getting withdrawal symptoms............

It seems to be becoming an extension of the 'Nanny State' Put a foot wrong and you'll receive a penalty. Perhaps it's the new FIA strategy to slow the cars down? Instead of having to dream up new technical restrictions to slow the cars, it's easier and far more effective to penalise the drivers for 'racing' each other so they think twice before commiting to a manoeuvre.

It's supposed to be racing at the highest level with drivers of the highest ability. Why don't they just let them get on with it ffs.

Interesting comment on the news this morning that Alonso will do whatever to help Massa beat Hamilton :roll: :jerk:

Absolutely. Same thing is going on in BSB, with Haslam being penalised the other month for punting Sykes off braking into a corner. Racing incident, agreed by both riders. Then, a week ago, Sykes did a similar thing to Haslam. No malice, they're good mates off the track - this is generally true in bike racing, much more so than car racing. Again, a penalty from race direction. Maybe having penalised one, they felt compelled to penalise the other. It's all bollox]consider[/i] giving a penalty.

Was astonished when on the highlights I heard Bourdais had been given a 25 second penalty for being in Massas' way. Jsut for a moment I thought things werent being engineered by the stewards to do everything they can to give Massa the title.

I still don't know what Bourdais did wrong? When i saw a 5 second highlight from his interview he said "what was i supposed to do? Just roll out the red carpet for them???"
