Just spent 20mins with the missus laughing at this.

People ask me why i drive a 3200mile round trip from southern Spain just to have APT service my japbox.... Now they've seen what we have out here in the way of 'tuning shops', i believe they have their answers.

lol. APT are very good, and my own preferred choice. But surly that cannot be a reflection of the working credentials of all Spanish tuners :o

If thats an Evo you'd only get 1300 miles in Spain before you had to drive it back again.

I'm a spaniard and i feel embarrassed by those donkeys calling themselves tuners!! It really doesn't show us in a very good light.

I thought the thread was a joke at first, but after reading all of it i am gobsmacked and totally cannot believe it's for real.

FFS...shoot me now please!! :(

Duncan, i don't really know how to take that :? I don't think of myself as a bodger!!

All i know is it's not the way it's done in the UK i'm happy to say. They really are a shambles and i don't think any one of you would let this lot loose on your P&J that's for sure. I don't think it's a great inditement for the spanish when others think of us as best bodgers in the world. I can assure you we are not all like that. 8)

:pmsl: FFS!! :rotflol:

Actually it was a compliment. 8)

They are generally extremely resourceful and will use whatever they have to hand to get something working. I think that is a good skill.

Although having said that, there are times (such as when building an engine) where doing it properly is called for :thumb:
