Time Attack Ireland - DCY & Taisan (56K)

Post by George @ DCY »

Sorry I aint been on for a while guys, been working on the car and been over busy with work.

We just went out to Ireland for there time attack final and thought I'd update you guys too.

[quote="GeorgeGTR"]Myself & Barrie from DCY, John begley & Tweenie Rob @tr racing went across the waters this weekend to compete in The Irish Time Attack at Mondello Park.
We took the DCY EVO7 RS & John took the R32 Taisan Skyline.

Had an awesome weekend, cracking company, the Irish were all friendly & nice. Barrie finished 3rd in the EVO which is a very good result and was less than half a second of the lap record and for me the best exit onto the pit straight with a full on 4 wheel power drift :bowdown1:. John times improved all day and you could see him getting more & more from the car overtime he went out, some nice angle too :thumbsup:

Luckily we found a cracking hotel, which had (so same Kerr told me) Ireland

Well it was like a class of it own, All club & pro are out on track together.

The club cars out there are true club clars imo. very street legal motors.

The ferry was one of the worst experiences of my life !!

Thanks for the update George :thumb:

Barrie seems to be settling in very nicely with the car now; glad that the hard work is paying off.

Nice to see the Taisan car getting a good work out. John certainly gives that car no end of proper use. Maximum respect :notworthy:

A couple of pictures were of note;

1) wide bodied S13 with no spoiler looked cool

2) Mr Gallagher looking very pervy with his fuel pump thing. Looked like he was enjoying himself a bit too much
