WTF Just heard via Anglia news that Lewis has been penalised 25 secs. which puts him third behind, guess what, a Ferrari ffs :x

Wonder if the FIA can dream up some more regs and strip McLaren of their points again?

Let's hope Lewis et al can give Feckari a good kicking next week on their home turf, Monza.

Quoted from Setanta

'Lewis Hamilton has been stripped of his 2008 Belgian GP title after race stewards docked the Briton 25 seconds following a post-race investigation into his driving.

The Briton battled with and got by rival Kimi Raikkonen in the final laps of the race - but cut across the Bus Stop chicane in doing so - and immediately after he crossed the finishline stewards confirmed that they would launch a probe into the incident.

It has now emerged that Hamilton has been slapped with a 25-second penalty for his overtaking move on Raikkonen, which drops him to third in the race standings, handing victory to Felipe Massa.

It also reduces the McLaren man's advantage in the Drivers' standings from eight to two points, though Ron Dennis' outfit can appeal the decision.'

Not seen the footage yet. What a great shame

Just watched it again on the news. Raikkonen took the corner with Lewis on the inside. With nowhere to go but across the chicane, he allowed Kimmi to re-take the lead.

Maybe the FIA saw a different version

I just can't believe it ! I'd recorded the race and have watched this incident several times, and still cannot understand it. Lewis backed off and handed the lead back, as per the regs. Can you imagine what would have happened if the situation had been reversed ? Precisely nothing. To me this just proves that there is a vendetta against Maclaren which has been going on for the past two seasons. Before I get accused of bias, I am a Ferrari fan, as Gary knows well, but I just can't stand injustice.
Well, I feel better for all that, now to kick the cat and smack the wife.

Fuckers

It was his corner.
Kimi would have taken him off if he didnt skip it
Lewis let Kimi go past afterwards and kimi had the momentum but cos he is a big fat boring finish gaylord braked too early and gave the lead back to Lewis

Getting really bored of this bias towards Ferrari - tossers
