Got the marham track day coming up ,
Was just wondering what sort of things do you need to wear .
I see alot of videos on youtube of guys wearing gloves and racing boots
Is this needed for the odd track day do they help ?
thanks

The first thing to ensure is that you have your arms and legs covered, (eg no t-shirts & shorts).
The next investment I would recommend would be the best helmet you can afford.
Gloves, boots and nomex overalls are good items to have, but not essential if they are not within your budget.

Something that we have found useful is to take a towel, high absorbant cloth. If it's wet very handy to be able to dry your hands before going out also to dry the bottom of your race boots / trainers to reduce the risk of slipping off pedals.

Definitely gloves, top helmet and race boots - remember it's all about how safe you feel, think about your bare arms when you roll over etc .. also, always have a fire extinghuser in the car !! .. I've seen them needed all too often.

Gloves, Helmet (the best you can afford) and Water (lots of it) - you get really de-hydrated on a track day.
A bit ghey but I find Lip Salve good too :gay:

Not gay at all Dunc. I have found that my lips get very dry and crack up when out in the elements at a track day (especialy at Snetterton with it's famous wind whipping across)
