That is one awesome bit of home brew. No doubts it's extremely fast as fudge if he is beating F1 powered specialist hill climb machines
I wonder how it compares though around a circuit to something like a radical or Atom, that's if it can do more than 1 lap before it goes BOOM!! It been designed to run at full pelt for less than 30sec but as he drives it to and from venues i assume it still makes good bhp without boost, so it's probably very trackable and it must stick to the black stuff like glue.
Very interesting to note he works with Scooby engines too. This chap is clearly a very accomplished all round engineer in his own right and works on a number of different type engines, but i wonder how he compares to the likes of Scooby specialists like Area52, RCM, and Zen.

Would love to know what it's like on a circuit. The last one I saw was the Lotus 56 on test at Hethel prior to the Indy 500. Apart from the really distinctive sound I seem to recall it was either go or stop, which was, of course ok for ovals, but little else.

Pop it into your washing machine on a 90'C wash and zap it with a shrink ray after....that should do the job!!
Failing that some bloody clever engineering know how cos i'm buggered if i know :?

The secondary engine turbine is actually a helicopter Auxilary starter motor, not the main turbine. ( Although I do know of 2 Honda fireblades that have had helicopter main gas turbines fitted to replace the engines!) Connected directly to the compressor housing of a large turbo , basically it works just like an electric supercharger - and just like them wil also only run for very short periods of time so fairly useless on a circuit car.
I have seen the car at shelsey a few times at shelsley. It might be a small emergency starter motor, but it still sounds very impressive!
