Hi, can anyone recommend a really good stereo repair company? the MR2s radio has suddenly stopped producing sound :?
the stereo's illuminated, displaying the demo screen. you can select all of the stations and play CD's nomatter what volume you set it at, but there is no sound.

Have you checked the back of the head unit to make sure the multi-plug hasn't worked loose?
Just a thought.

NICE (Norwich Incar Entertainment) always seem recommended.
But do as Gerry has said although surely the power to the unit is on the same plug ? Unless its been wired up the old fashioned way (block connectors rather than the iso stereo lead).
Did you get the special keys (usually a flat piece of metal to slip either side of the radio or a metal v shaped device) to hook the radio out ?

I bought some keys today for the headunit and it wouldn't comeout, then i remember the bloke saying that when he installed it, he removed the dash facia and bolted it in :? so that'll explain why the keys don't work :x
