Have I gone queer??

Post by rolty »

Whilst on my way to work this morning I was thinking about what car I should be looking at.

It's not going to do many miles, as I cycle/tram in to work and it must be fun - and cheap.

For some reason the MX-5 is just stuck in my head? Am I going mad? Other options?

a bit, but they do make good track cars, got a mate with a turbo'd up one as his track toy, loves it.

Mate, I always rave about MX5s and seriously considered getting one to replace the rex to take on the track.
Standard older ones are ok but need a bit more power but there are plenty of options eg turbo, supercharge etc etc.

My mum used to have one and it was fantastic, absolutely loved it and had more confidence pushing down back roads than I do in my car.

There are some great country roads round Manchester to have a lot of fun with a car like that.
The trouble is they do have the 'hairdresser' reputation !!!

But also like Ben says a 1.3 Starlet Turbo is an insane car !!
