I worked it out to 833bhp per ton at 1000bhp and 1000bhp per ton at 1200bhp
For a road car that's insane really
Looks good too but then i always like the Exige more so than the Elise for it's agressive looks.
I'll have one please and fully stripped out of course

Hmmm,
Not sure about putting a 300+kg engine (without the turbos and associated parts that will take it past 400kg) in the place of a 120kg engine in a car that originally only weighed about 800kg.
I suspect that it would accelerate quite smartly though

Part of the whole thing with a Lotus is the way it is so pure. I agree with James ( Christ, better sit down) that slapping a big engine in there may not be the best thing.....it would have to play havoc with the handling, surely?
240bhp in an Exige Cup was quick. A thousand of the buggers must be borderline madness
