could think about the halfords pro range , lifetime garantee and everyone who has tried them rates them (even mechanics) i know usually halfords = crap but they are pretty damn good

i have had this little halfords set in my car for a couple of years now, and it has got me out of some tight places. but the other week, i run over it, and the plastic adjuster on the ratchet has broken off.

i was looking to replace it for like for like, or get something abit better. it will be kepted in the car.

Trev's right IMO Snap On is ultra expensive and if you're job doesn't depend on it, it's difficult to justify. Besides, Halfords have occasional sales for their pro range.

i have got alot of tools at home, im just after something handy to keep in the car.

the set i have put a link to above has halpted me out a few times when i have had boost pipes come off etc
