Hi jason!
Ive just renewed my motor trade policy today! I used to have the same problem, as i do some salvage. I`m now insured with alsager through the bollington group. http://www.bollington.com They now cover me for just about anything!--The price is very good too! If you are not in the motor trade, it might be worth becoming a part time trader   :-D
good luck!

Not at all Jason. There are simply procedures in place to make sure that the benefits are only there for legitimate businesses. I'm sure you're as legit' as it gets mate :thumb:

In truth it is very easy!
I will give you an example
You are a part time trader in full time employment.
You sell 3-4 cars a month from your home.(nothing flash, just family cars :-D )
(They do all cough at modified stuff and all exclude cossie`s and steam powered vehicels!?!- my scooby on a seperate policy)
The shoguns your company car.
You might buy the odd one or two easy fixer upper`s from a salvage yard!
Lets be honest most car enthusiasts do fall into the part time trader catagory anyway :-D
Obviously i could`nt condone anyone lying to obtain a open insurance policy :(
Cheers
Russ.

Flux may help as they do grey imports and Q plated if it's known why it's Q'd.

It does usually cost a lot more as the number of markets are cut right down.

That may be a legit way of doing it!
