A Modern Classic

Its was my parents wedding anniversary this weekend so to make a weekend of it my dad hired this for the weekend:-

My dad has been into Morgans for as long as I can remember and his dream is to own one. On his sixtieth birthday we hired one for a few days for him and he wanted to do it again.
We got up at 6am
on friday to travel to the Morgan factory so that we could pick the car up at 9am. As we had to wait for the car to be got ready we had the chance to look around the factory. All morgans are hand built, we had the pleasure of watching real craftsman shaping wood and metal into various car parts. It takes around a month for one car to be built from start to finish. The factory is very open to customers and the general public to view the cars being built, all the staff were friendly and very happy to chat about their work. After our factory visit we collected our car and started our 3 hour trip back home. Our route took us through the Cotswolds, into Oxford, through Aylesbury on to Hemel Hemstead and then back to Stevenage.

Well it would be rude not to have a go! :-D This is me and dad just about to go out for a drive and let me loose in his dream car
Totally different to anything i,ve ever driven, no power steering but very direct. We had some good weather this weekend so the top was down most of the time. Mum and Dad took the car back this morning and dad is trying very had to persuade me to have one for my wedding!!
