horrid knocking when I dab the throttle

Just sorted the oil change out and in the garage I had the bonnet up just seeing whether any leaks from the oil cooler pipes/unions running it up to temperature and I could hear this horrid knock when I dabbed the throttle.
Bugger :x
Was checking everything until
...... I figured it was the bonnet pin clips
Paranoid or what ?:pmsl:
I need to get out more :-D

bet you had that sinking feeling duncan before you realised :lol: i felt the same feeling when i had the crank pully come loose on my new engine, the sinking feeling was overnight though :-D
