The new Lexus sounded amazing, very much like the Carerra GT IMO. The Scirocco ran very well, It finished 1st, 2nd and 5th in it's class and looked really good. As for the Gumpert Apollo, well, that was something else, exhausts glowing all the time, but the most impressive piece was seeing it leave the pits silently on the electric motor before the engine started as it entered the track.
Pics will be up later on but here are a few teasers for the time being:

Aston DB9 RS I think, this was very very loud!

RS4 with an addictive V8 rumble, you could hear this coming a mile off

The only RX7 running, just for Gareth. Nice flames at night and didn't stop halfway through the race for a rebuild

Sweet Audi 8)

Brunnchen 1 at night, loads of people here and the atmosphere was crazy!

A bit of light evening entertainment

Weirseifen during quali. Really busy here

The Gumpert of which I speak coming in to the pits for the last driver change of the race. Heinz-Harald Frentzen did the last stint.

The New Scirocco in the winners enclosure, this was the exact car that won it's class.

The two Manthey racing Porches, which finished 1st and second overall.
There are plenty more pics to come which will tell the full story, but as you can probably tell by the amount of pics in certain areas
, it wasn't a half bad weekend!!
