As Big Powers resident BDC driver I regret to say I couldn't get an entry, having missed round 2 due to a dinged car. Gutted isn't the word! I can see it having a snowball effect so not sure I will get to compete again this year, so if anyone wants a brand new Brian James A-max and 05 Navara give me a shout!

The series is fantastic, hence its popularity, so if you into drifting, its a must-see.

Heres a recent clip of the scoob at Pod after we fixed it (it blew its gearbox pretty quickly, check the end of the vid, these cars arent really designed for this application):

No, I didn't think I'd get in at the start of the season until Mark called me up. Some of the more experienced drivers can pay for the series up front but newbs like me pay per round and the ones that attended the last round get priority. I knew it was a risk but after travelling 12 hours to get 3 laps in and kill the car at Teeside I wanted it to be right before we went back out again, which meant a bit of T&D time and skipping R2.

Cheers. The car needs more lock ASAP for consistency as its easy to find yourself on the lockstops and off the power with nowhere to go but round. Lex and Tony Fong both drove it and didnt like it much. Seat time allows you to drive around some of the limitations, but as I'm still at the arse end of the talent queue in BDC I'll probably use the rest of the year to develop the car further both in terms of predictability and reliability as well as practicing lots.
