Nige`s Epic Easter 2008 report. Snow, Sun & 88 laps !

This is a copy / paste from my Northloop report. I realise some of the parts may not be relevant, but you get the gist of the amazing fortnight we`ve had.
Easter had been planned for many months and the forecast of snow made us buy extra equipment and clothing. The cars were packed by Louise and Matthew on Thursday and as soon as I came home from work, we secured the car to the trailer, hitched up and set off at 18:45. A pretty uneventful trip to Canterbury where we managed to get 5 hours sleep in the Travelodge, parked up in the lorry section so I didnt need to unhitch the trailer

A 5:30am alarm saw us arrive at Dover just after 6am, our crossing was not booked until 08:35, but we turned up earlier in the hope they could squeeze us on an earlier crossing. I queued in the line and when I arrived at the check-in handed over my booking number. The woman was chatting to me, but after a while said
