So if I read that right, Dunc came 29th. Is that right?

They are not the final results. Duncan qualified in 29th. At the time of that posting the finals hadn't taken place yet.
Edited to add that only the first 20 qualifiers go through to the final, so yes his final position will be 29th. Conditions were bad though. I see that the original post has been updated with the final results.

I think that time was quite good considering the state of the car when I came in and very lucky that there wasnt a huge portion of armco on the front of it when I went off at about 80.

There was a bigger manfoot time than the early one in the qualifying session James - proper Bladey sized manfoot time
