wet weather tyres....

has anyone got any ideas on what you going to run on very wet days???

the toyo rsr tyre isnt coming till later in year :?

but TBH on track, it would have to be very wet with standing water for the R888's not to work...

These are my dry tyres:

These will be used if mildly damp:

If it is raining heavily I will probably use:

For sleet or snow I think it will have to be:

Noweher can be any wetter than Knockhill last year. The Yoko's were fine in the wet once warmed a little so I dont see why the soft and flexible chronic t1r will be any better than a warm ish 888.

All else fails, I will write Toyo on the side of my bridgestones and Toyo can bite my arse for not providing the tyres that are suitable for the conditions.

Hey if they bite your arse, you could look at it as a weight saving!!!! :lol:

Have just got back from Toyo Tires in Rushden and when I enquired as to when the R1R would be available, they said that they didn't know and that it could be later in the year than planned.

I ordered my toyos yesterday - they were supposed to arrive today but havent :(

Thought sure I had read somewhere that some people have these already :?:

I assume that if they are not readily available through Toyo, they will not be eligible to run in Time Attack?
