TA Entrance Tickets/Paddock passes

Anyone understand what the deal is with these?
In the sticker pack we got 4 tickets (access all area) and 2 car passes (i think they are)
Do we use one of the tickets for ourselves and one fo the car passes for ourselves or am I missing something?

I believe that the 4 tickets are for the driver and his pit crew. The 2 paddock passes are for your car and support vehicle
