Got a 318 ti for the day Stu.
But will probably have to hire a couple of Alfa 75's from Ron (@ 75 eperience) as well, if the others come too.

I just wanted to make sure I had my stuff sorted if the others back out for any reason

Yep :thumb:

(I hope they're ok)

I did fancy The Ringhaus polo but they no longer have it. Seemed good value

Flights sound cool. My main consideration this time is simply that my only car is the Golf (Skyline not an option) The Golf is 20 years old and whilst it's very reliable for day to day stuff, a 480 mile slap there, daily spanking and then a 480 mile trudge home afterwards may be just the thing to hasten its demise. Not ideal when it needs to hustle me around for 300+ miles each week at home!

Hiring a simpler car will help me learn the track and hopefully remove some of the pressures of 'saving' my own car for the drive home. A cheap flight combined with Kens gorgeous house for accomodation are looking very tempting at the moment. How much is the BM Matt?

I know exactly what you're saying Stu. After having an Alfa from Ron last time I was there, it made the experience so much more enjoyable.

The BM is 395 euros and islimited to 250km, so 10 laps really

The Alfa's come out around 375 euros and no lap limits.

The BM should be good for me, I doubt:

a) I could do any more than 10 laps in a day
b) Dont want to pay for more than 10 laps in a day!
c) As b but petrol too
d) With stoppages, may be hard to do 10 laps

Presumably you could split that price if you wanted to share the drive?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Interesting. The Alfa would be my choice largely down to no limit on miles and my percieved notion that it will be better prepared for the 'experience'.

Thanks. Very helpful :D
