What fuel will you be running in TA?

I know Anglo American Oils have done a pretty good deal on the pricing of the Sunoco race fuels for TA competitors but are any of the club guys going to use it?

I am sure the power advantages are there with running 109 octane fuel but I think it will add a lot to the running costs for the weekend.

So is it race fuel or vpower or vpower (+octane booster) for you?

Hi Dunc. Speak to Gary about the fuels, we have done a fair bit of dyno testing now and have some interesting results.

Do the TA regs give you a free reign on fuel Dunc?

petrol, deisel, bioethanol is the choice but Sunoco are one of the series sponsors so we get a discount on their race fuel.

So you're allowed additives (does that include several litres of meth etc?) and race fuel like Sunoco? Sounds liberal compared to an MSA event.

I'll be using pump fuel, no boosters.

I'll be using V-Power, will have to plan ahead though to see where the nearest one is to each track!
