Has anyone got a Pogo Drive??

Ok i want both a Sat nav and a Speed Camera detection all in one.

back in the day IMO the Origin B2 was the best speed camera detection about, TomTom was the best Sat Nav.

Pogo Drive is basicly Origns all in one sat nav and speed camera detection, just curious who has one or seen one in action, i have no doubt the speed camera detection will be spot on but as for the Sat Nav i have no ideas what it will be like.

I tried a Road Angel Navigator and found the speed camera alerts to be very clear but the maps and detail of the Sat Nav were crap when comparing it to a TomTom so creap it put me off considering one. I could actually get lost with the Road Angel one which defeats the object really. It was also very difficult to use and the menu was badly laid out.

TomTom does do a option to add speed camera detection but it's not like a live update like the other 2 and is a bit pants, i wouldn't trust it.

Not tried the one you're asking about but agree on how good Road Angel is with camera locations, even to the point where it only alerts you to cameras on your side of the road, unlike some, that warn of cameras within an angle, so you're forever being beeped and whistled at by the things.

I'm a bit disappointed to hear their satnav's not too good as I was expecting it to be better than the rest.

Do you mean Road angel Nvaigator?

I'm still confused which one to go for. The road angel is the only one you can add a laser detection to which is rather persuading.

Is laser detection illegal or legal? different companies tell you different things Halfrauds claim that they are legal well for now but Nice and motoworld say they that they are illegal.

If the laser detector is like the one that came with the classic R/A, the legality or otherwise is pretty irrelevent as, if it alarms, it's probably too late anyway. It picks up the infra red from the laser gun and relies on picking up the 'spread' of light even if the gun's not directly aimed at you.

That's how I understand it. Don't know how the law views it.

I've been doing more research and the new Snooper looks very good.

Snooper S2010 proline.
