What,s the difference apart from the front end styling? I,ve heard that the imports have slightly more power, is that all?

It's not just the Integra the Civics are the same, the handling is awesome!!

I had a UK DC2 Liam. They were made for a shorter period, or should I say, sold for a shorter period.

Liam afaik they didnt release the dc5 in the uk as Honda Uk saw it as direct competition for the CTR
The EP3 was the only post 99 R car released to the UK
I believe the DC5 is import only and the new FN2 is again UK available
IMO having driven all these cars i believe the Dc2 to still be a better drivers car compared to the other 2, but its exactly that a drivers car. Honda took too much rawness away in the DC5 and FN2 and made them more refinded with more power :!:
Sorry went off the original question there
Oh and i still have a massive soft spot for the Ek9 Typre R

I know nothing about Honda's, but a lot of Jap cars are mapped slightly different to take advantage of the higher RON Jap fuel - hence giving a slightly higher book power value.
Jap ECU'd car on 100+ron will be able to produce more power than UK ECU'd running on 95 ron.
The Downside to this is that some Jap models don't like our 95 ron pump fuel, and need to be run on Super.

yeah sure was the i also believe they 2 different engine codes too
B18c5 and C - being the us and jdm engine
B18c6 - uk engine
the uk engine had 187bhp approx whereas the jdm had 200hp or thereabout
As for transmission dont quote me on this and i could be wrong but the codes were something like J4D- 96specR with LSD and N3E 98specR with LSD on the jap cars
Whilst uk and europe had S80 with LSD
As for your friend Liam tell him to do it - wish i'd have gone to another honda after my little CRX but needed 4 doors
